Sarah Harring (she/her) is the Title IX Case Manager & Hearing Administrator for the Title IX Office. In this role, Sarah supports the case management for the Title IX Office by responding to reports of sexual harassment, providing information about Title IX procedures, and serving as a point of contact for parties working with the Title IX Office. She also oversees the usage of our case management system to make sure all reports to the Title IX Office are documented appropriately, analyzes the data on the work of the Title IX Office, and leads the creation of the Annual Report.
Prior to coming to GW, Sarah worked at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in the Office of Institutional Equity, which addressed sexual misconduct and protected class discrimination and harassment, and the Office of the Dean of Students, which oversaw students of concern and student conduct. Sarah also has previous experience serving as a Hall Director at Morehead State University where she supervised a cluster of residence halls on campus. Sarah received her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Arts in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education from Ball State University. Sarah also holds a Restorative Justice Facilitation and Leadership Certificate from the University of San Diego.
