Education & Training

Education is a primary pillar of the GW Title IX Office's mission. Our education programs provide the GW community with opportunities to discuss important concepts like consent and healthy relationships, and learn how to be an active bystander. Other programs allow the GW community to consider the social and cultural dynamics involved in sexual assault or dating and domestic violence, as well as learn how to respond supportively to a disclosure.

Every member of the GW community has a role to play in preventing sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking within our community.  Educating yourself on these important issues is crucial to playing your part in creating a safe, respectful and inclusive environment at GW.
