Joshua Segalewitz

Joshua Segalewitz (he/him) is one of the Response Coordinators for the GW Title IX Office. In his role, Joshua supports GW community members by initiating outreach following a reported incident, facilitating supportive measures, and offering information on options moving forward. Joshua also spearheads the Title IX Office's student partnerships. In this role, Joshua identifies opportunities for the Title IX Office to engage with student organizations, facilitates collaborative programming, and builds relationships with GW's student body. 

Joshua joined the Title IX Office in January 2022 after working on a global, USAID-funded cooperative agreement aimed at using data to address the HIV epidemic and COVID pandemic. Joshua has several years of experience in direct service provision to folks who have experienced sexual and intimate partner violence and in university sexual and intimate partner violence prevention programming.
