Asha Reynolds (she/her) is the Director of the Title IX Office and the University’s Title IX Coordinator. In this capacity she oversees the university’s Title IX sexual harassment-related compliance, including the provision of Title IX supportive measures, investigations and hearings, and the alternative resolution process. Asha joined the GW community in 2018 as a Title IX Investigator, a position where she investigated allegations of sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic and dating violence and stalking involving faculty, staff, and students.
Prior to GW, Asha was the Assistant Director of Equity Compliance & Title IX Coordinator for Bowie State University. Asha also has previous experience serving as an Assistant District Attorney for the New York County District Attorney’s Office where she prosecuted felony and misdemeanor crimes throughout the borough of Manhattan. In this role, Asha served as her trial bureau’s representative to the Special Victims Bureau’s Elder Abuse Unit. Asha received her undergraduate degree in Justice from American University in 2003 and her J.D. from the New York University School of Law in 2007.
